FOOD FOR LIFE MISSION —
Welfare: To eradicate hunger and malnutrition by providing pure vegan or vegetarian meals to the disadvantaged, and victims of disaster (natural or manmade), wherever there is a need in the world.
Health: To establish Food for Life Health Education centers throughout the world.
These centers will provide free or inexpensive vegetarian meals, counseling, health education, and living skills training to the needy.
Youth Development: To establish Rural Academies for Youth ("Food for Life R.A.Y. of Hope"), whereby people from the ages of 16-25 are trained in bhakti yoga, cow protection, and sustainable agriculture, centered on spiritual values.
Hospitality: To revive the ancient Vedic culture of hospitality, and to teach people by example, that there is spiritual equality among all beings.

ABOUT US —
Food For Life Gulf Coast, Inc. was
established on January 9th, 2010 in New Orleans Louisiana. Our
nonprofit organization is a vegetarian hunger relief program aimed at
nourishing people’s lives though the distribution of pure vegetarian
meals prepared with love. Our services are provided without regard to
race, creed, color, sex, community, religion, or nationality. FFLGC
inherited the registered name Hot Meals on Wheels in the State of Lousiana. We deliver hot meals to people in need!
FFLGC currently serves five days per week at
the New Orleans’ Mission and in the New Orleans Common Grounds.
Additionally, Saturday Prasad Cookie distribution takes place locally
in Picayune MS, Slidell MS, and New Orleans LA. Our ongoing Sunday
feast program in Carriere Mississippi serves up to 150 people weekly.
FFLGC has catered 7 local programs to date. These venues include
various Yoga studios, Ocean Springs Herb Festival, and the Kiln Public
Library.
